Vape juice, also called e-juice or e-liquid, is the liquid that is put in an e-cigarette. This is also the liquid that is later vaporized. Vape juice comes in a variety of flavors, with and without nicotine, as well as different nicotine yields.

What is vape juice?

Vape juice is a flavored liquid that is water-based and comes with or without nicotine. The juice mostly contains propylene glycol and vegetable glycol and is filled in the tank of the e-cigarette. When that is done you only need to press a button to inhale the vapor from the mouthpiece of your vape.

Nicotine in vape juice

Vape juice can be bought in a variety of nicotine yields. The nicotine yield you should buy depends on the watt power that your vape runs on and how much nicotine you are used to, but also the feeling you wish to achieve. Strong and medium is normally used by someone that is used to a higher intake of nicotine, while light is used by someone that wants a lower intake. Vape juice also comes without any nicotine which is then labeled as “0 mg”.

Is vape juice legal in Sweden?

It is legal with vape juice in Sweden. Vape juice is included in the law of tobacco and similar products, and you must therefore be over 18 years of age to buy it.

Sustainability of vape juice

The sustainability of vape juice is about two years from the date of manufacture, though this largely depends on how you store it. Vape juice should be stored away from direct sunlight and warmth, and not be exposed to too much oxygen as this can impair the sustainability and make the juice go bad. It is not uncommon for vape juice to change color and become sort of brownish, though this does not necessarily mean it has gone bad and cannot be used. This is how to clean spilled vape juice

As vape juice is poured into the tank of a vape there is a chance spilling can occur. If you spill any of the juice it is easily washed up with a paper towel and some water. However, if some juice is spilled onto your clothes it is necessary to pre wash the stain with water and dishwashing liquid, before washing it as usual in the washing machine.
