A vape pen is also called an electric cigarette or e-cigarette, and is a smoke free option to ordinary cigarettes. A vape pen converts e-liquid to vapor that you can inhale. The liquid comes in many flavors and you can choose whether you want it with or without nicotine.

What is a vape pen?

The vape pen is an electronic device that vaporizes e-liquid. These vape pens are often small and easy to bring along, and it is powered on built-in batteries that you can charge. You simply pour e-liquid into your vape pen and when this liquid becomes heated it converts into the vapor that you can inhale.

This is how a vape pen works

A vape pen functions as such that you press a button on your vape pen, which in turn will power the coil that is heated and converted to vapor. It consists of a battery, a mod, a tank and a coil.

● Battery – The battery is what powers your vape pen. Though the battery is chargeable it needs to be exchanged as time goes by. When you throw out your old battery it is to be recycled as a regular battery.

● Mod – The mod is the cover around the battery on a vape pen and what you are holding when you are vaping. Mods come in different sizes and appearances and it makes sure the vape pen has the power needed for you to vape.

● Tank – The tank on a vape is what you pour the e-liquid in and together with the coil it creates the evaporator.

● Coil – The coil is a burner that creates the vapor from your vape pen. It consists of a cover of cotton that sucks up the e-liquid and coils that are heated and converts the liquid into vapor.

Is it legal with vape pens in Sweden?

It is legal to buy and use a vape pen in Sweden. These are included in the law of tobacco and similar products which means that you must be over 18 years of age to buy the product.
