With IQOS accidental damage coverage, your IQOS is covered 12 months from the time of registration. This means that you do not have to worry if any part of your device breaks because you will be able to quickly replace it for free.
What does accidental damage coverage mean?
IQOS accidental damage coverage means that you can replace each component of your IQOS kit completely free of charge once during a 12-month period. The accidental damage coverage is included in the IQOS Benefit package, but you need to activate the coverage by registering your device on "My pages" here on our website. The accidental damage coverage is valid for 12 months from the date of registration, unlike the benefit package which is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase of you IQOS.
What is / is not included in the accidental damage coverage?
If an accident happens and a component of your IQOS kit breaks, you have the right to replace the part and get a new one. For example, if the heating blade breaks during cleaning or you accidentally break your IQOS by dropping it on the floor, you can repair or replace the damaged parts. However, there are some occasions that the accidental damage coverage does not cover, for example damages caused by a natural disaster or negligence, such as events where your IQOS is stolen or lost. It also does not cover cosmetic damages to your IQOS.
Register your IQOS to get accidental damage coverage
You get the IQOS accidental damage coverage by registering yourself and your device here on our website. Create your account and register your device by going to "My Devices" and "Register new IQOS". Type the 12-digit code which you find on the back of the package of your IQOS.
The difference between accidental damage coverage and warranty
It is important to keep in mind that the accidental damage coverage is not the same as IQOS warranty. Everyone who buys an IQOS gets a warranty which is valid for 1 year from the date of purchase. It covers material and manufacturing defects which means that your IQOS can be repaired or replaced free of charge.
The accidental damage coverage is valid from the date you register your IQOS and covers damages caused by yourself by accident and some other types of incidents with your device.
