No, IQOS 3 can no longer be purchased from the IQOS website or in any of our IQOS stores. IQOS 3 has been replaced by the later version, IQOS 3 DUO.
IQOS 3 DUO has the fastest and most powerful Holder in the IQOS family, which enables two consecutive uses without having to recharge the Holder.
IQOS 3 DUO offers at least 1min 40sec faster than charging the Holder of IQOS 3*. The device hosts our IQOS ProtectPlus™ System for better protection and reliability and NFC chip for easy registration and access to IQOS website.

*Provided IQOS 3 DUO Holder is fully charged the first time or when fully depleted; and applicable for charging IQOS 3 DUO Holder from 0 to 1 use. It may depend on conditions of use, on battery lifecycle, weather conditions and device usage.

The IQOS 3 DUO has the fastest and most powerful Holder in the IQOS family, which allows you to use it twice times in a row without having to charge the Holder. In addition, it recharges 1 minute and 40 seconds faster than the previous IQOS 3 Holder*.

IQOS 3 DUO also includes our IQOS ProtectPlus™ system for better protection and reliability, as well as an NFC chip for easy registration and navigation to the IQOS website.

*Given that the IQOS 3 DUO Holder is fully charged for the first time or when its battery is completely discharged, and when the IQOS 3 DUO Holder is charged from 0 to 1 use. Operating conditions, battery life cycle, weather and device usage may have an impact.

IQOS 3 DUO enables two consecutive uses without needing to charge the holder. The number of uses is indicated by the two white lights on your Holder and Pocket Charger.

The holder is ready for a second use immediately after the first one, if you do not want to use it directly you can put the holder in the Pocket Charger again for a quick recharge. When the recharge is complete, the Holder is ready for 2 uses again.
You can check how many uses the Holder is available for in two ways - either on the Holder itself or on the Pocket Charger.

Check status via the Holder - Hold and release button on the Holder:
  • 2 lights = 2 remaining uses
  • 1 light = 1 remaining use
  • 0 lights = The holder is not charged

    Check the Holder's status on the Pocket Charger - hold and release the button on the Pocket Charger:
  • 2 lights - 2 remaining uses
  • 1 light - 1 remaining use
  • 0 lights = The holder is not charged

    *For those customers who use a mixed version of IQOS 3 DUO Holder in the IQOS 3 Pocket Charger. In some cases, it may be required to upgrade the firmware of IQOS 3 Pocket Charger to know when the Holder is ready for 1 use.
  • The vibrations of the IQOS 3 DUO holder are activated in the following situations:
  • When the heating starts (when you press the button on the Holder to start) - 1 vibration
  • When the holder is ready to use - 2 vibrations
  • When the use is about to end (30 seconds before end) - 2 vibrations
  • If no vibration occurs, this may be because something is wrong with the holder. Try these three steps:
  • Make sure your IQOS 3 DUO is charged, try again if the device vibrates when activated
  • Open the lid and place a heatstick in the IQOS
  • Press and hold the button for 2 seconds and check for vibration

  • scan QR code on the IQOS packaging (the folio inside the packaging that contains user documents) to open web interface
  • take a picture of the label on the packaging to capture the serial number of your IQOS
  • IQOS serial number is automatically populated. If not, please take a picture of the label outside the packaging box to capture the serial number of your IQOS
  • fill in required information to register your IQOS
  • If you already have an IQOS 3 and would like to use your IQOS 3 DUO Holder with the IQOS 3 Pocket Charger, you might need to upgrade your firmware.

    To understand whether your current IQOS 3 requires an upgrade, do the following:
    1. Fully charge your IQOS 3 DUO Holder and insert it into the IQOS 3 Pocket Charger
    2. Press the Pocket Charger button to check the Holder status light:
  • If the light blinks once – need upgrade
  • If the light blinks twice – no need for upgrade

    You can upgrade the firmware of your IQOS in the IQOS Store. It is free of charge. After the upgrade, you will be able to charge and use your IQOS 3 DUO Holder with the IQOS 3 Pocket Charger.

    The vibrations of the IQOS 3 MULTI are activated in the following situations:
  • When the heating starts (when you press the button to start) - 1 vibration
  • When the IQOS is ready to use - 2 vibrations
  • When the use is about to end (30 seconds before end) - 2 vibrations
  • Try these quick steps first:
  • Try resetting your IQOS by pressing and holding down the button for 10 seconds (until the lights fade out) and then release the button.
  • Then fully charge your IQOS 3 MULTI (for 75 minutes) with the power adapter and cable included in the box.
  • Make sure your IQOS is turned on after a full charge.
